I am taking a mooring at Chicago's Monroe Harbor for part of the boating season (3-4 year wait list for a slip in Chicago's Harbors) and need help as I have never been on a mooring for an extended period of time.
What do I need to have in the way of a bridle, shackles & swivels, mooring pennants and should I get a fiberglass pickup mast bouy to make it easier to get on the mooring.
What is the best setup to make it easier to get on and off the mooring?
I appreciate any direction or hear about your current setup and experiences.
