2 questions
One, a buddy of mine owns a 1995 Sea Ray open bow, uses it 100% on a lake. Current amfmcassette player lives in the glove box. He has a budget of $300 and wants to upgrade to a single cd player. I see Dual, Sony, Clarion, JBL, Jenson and Kenwood on the 'marine' market. He is not a bells and whistles guy. He wants something that will play his CDs and sounds a bit nicer. What's best?
Two, we want to upgrade our stereo head unit in our Sea Ray. The unit is inside the cabin. We boat on fresh water, ocassionally in brackish water. Do we need to buy a marine head unit or can we buy a head unit for a car? I really see no reason why it needs to be 'marine' worthy as it's not exposed to water or salt.
Thanks,
