I walked through the Newburgh Boat Show on Sunday. Really not much to see unless you wanted to look at the Mainship Trawler line of boats. I suppose it is a good start and I hope that it expands in the future.

There was also the schooner "Peacemaker" at the dock. We took a tour and it was pretty interesting, but you were limited in what you had access to. The Peacemaker is run by a religeous group (based in Georgia, I think). So they were asking for donations and selling their pottery to raise money. We didn't drink the kool-aid, or stick around to sing kumbaya though.

I guess it didn't grow much beyond what was set up on Friday. We were wondering if we missed out on more booths etc.. Only a few dealers were present. I agree, this could be a good show with more participation. Given all of the restaurants etc. it could be a real winner.

Yes, it was advertised with the Haverstraw one last month. Didnt see as much for it this month...

Pretty sure it was advertised in Boating on the Hudson as well.

There were signs up near the Newburgh waterfront, and there was a flyer in the Middletown Times-Herald Record.
