NJ Marina Search down to two. Help!

My top two choices for my 2008 NJ docking are Dillon's Creek Marina in Island Heights and Lighthouse Point Marina in Toms River.

Can anyone voice an opinion on these two to help me make a choice? I would like especially to hear from someone currently using these marinas.

As always, I really appreciate any information the members of this forum provide.

Dillons Creek is a award winning marina by the EPA. The marina is run very professionally and is kept in immaculate condition. People there are very friendly and helpful. Lighthouse Point has been sold to new owners about two years ago and I have no idea how it is run.I was only in there once. They have put in new slips and are trying to clean up the marina.

Thanks Bill. I have a meeting with Dillon's manager on Saturday discuss details. My number one choice based upon looks is Lighthouse Point.

I had my boat in LHPM for two seasons. The marina is for the most part brand new, and they continue to make improvements. If I didn't buy a house on the water I would still have the boat there. I don't know much about Dillon's creek. I don't think they have a pool and that was a selling point for the admiral.

I've landed. It's Dillon's Creek Marina for me. Thanks to all forum members that responded, it helped a lot.
 
Lots of luck in your new home for your boat. Next spring I will see you as I do all the vessel exams for the USCG Aux in that marina.

Im in LHPM in Toms River and I hate it, the only reason why I'm still there after 5 years are all the amenities. Ive priced around but it is still by far one of the cheapest, and cleanest. But if you are not a local that is a friend with the General Manager, then forget it. I can't even wipe my butt with out that dick breathing down my back about how or what I did. But his friends can do as they please when they please. But it is a nice and up and coming facility. Let me know how you make out maybe I will make the change.
