p.s. we did see both dolphins and manatees... Great with a pepper sauce.. :-)

Nice! I still need to venture there. I saw it from the air a week ago while flying into MIA.

Mark: Always good to hear when a boater has a great time. Looks like nice setting.

Wow! Beautiful boat and a great setting for photo's! Mighty fine rig you got there.

This isn't a criticism at all... but your boat really does sit stern heavy. The first pic I thought you might have been hauling anchor or something and the bow was bobbing.

LBDBoater:

You know, I have worried about that too. I have looked at other 530's and they all seem to look this way. I do have a fair amount of dive gear in the Lazerette. I don't have a feel for the angle is should sit at. It gets up to speed pretty well.

Nice pictures. They really oughta name that harbor. It's very beautiful. Where is it?

Bob,

it's at the tip of Key Biscayne by cape florida , off miami . it's really the last of the east coast barrier island, just south of miami beach. it's a state park with "award winning" Crandon beach, trails, etc... there is a bulkhead where you can tie up (not overnight though) or excellent holding in the midle of harbor to anchor.

Gotta make a day trip there to familiarize myself with the area.

BB it's real easy.. follow the ICW to downtown/bayside, then south under the rickenbaker cwy. there are good spots to anchor and swim all around KB
