Norcold power supply - FIXED!!!

My fridge doesn't work at all on ac or dc. Makes no noise and the compressor is hot to the touch. I'm thinking the cures posted here may not apply to my situation. Any thoughts?
 
This might apply, check to see if you have 23 volts when on AC or DC at the output of the power supply that feeds the compressor as well as the temperature control circuit (thermostat). The thermostat circuit turns the compressor voltage on and off to regulate the temperature of the unit. I would also vacuum out all dust and dirt. There might be a cooling fan depending on the unit you have make sure it is running as well.
What model# is your NorCold?

The fridge is a de 561. I`ll pull it out and check voltage as you suggest.Defender has 0061 for 1285. Do you happen to know if the door panels are the same size? If I do replace it Id like to use my matching wood panels rather than white or black.
 
I don't know about the door size. I have a DE0061T it's a great unit, keeps my food cold and the frozen foods stay frozen. It doesn't draw much DC current (< 3 amps) either for a 7 cubic foot frig/ freezer, I do know that you need to pay attention to the depth of the DE0061T because the fan and compressor assembly are mounted high and to the left if your looking at the front of the unit. I ended up taking some of the Aluminum off the bracket that held the assembly in place on the unit. Yup I know it would have voided the warranty had I had a warranty issue. I've had no issues since 2006-07 when the frig was upgraded.
I'll see which unit I originally had in my boat because the frig is still working in a slip neighbors boat who I gave my old Norcold unit to.

Just for update I got the dc relay put it in. It lined
up in socket and fridge works

So there is dc relays available
