Northstar 962

I have a Northstar 962 plotter that has been working fine until today when it started up fine the keypads lit up but just a black screen. increasing brightness does nothing. TYhe processor is running and I can hear the monitor going but nothing on screen. Is there a fluorescent bulb in the monitor and if so how do you get at it? Any suggestions??

When I had my 951 after 4 years or so I had a problem with it. Ended up sending it back to Northstar and they fixed it. I don't remember for sure but I think it cost about $250. They put in a new screen and changed something else I think.
