I just bought a 1990 Chaparral 1800SL. It has a Volvo Penta 4Cyl aq151c with an SP cd trim Outdrive. Engine has not ran for over a year and a half. Once I had a good battery,engine started right up. The next day there was about 1/4 quart of oil on ground coming from in between outdrive and prop, any suggestions?.
Also while engine was running I put it in forward which was fine, but when I tried to put it in reverse the engine would stall. Is this because the prop is fully tilted up?
