I have a 2001 18' center console angler. I recently noticed that the tube coming from the lower unit of my outboard(Merc 125) was sliced....and i traced the tube to the dashboard and it feeds into an oil pressure gauge....In lookign to replace the tube on the mercury website i realized its a speedo tube and its been connected to an oil pressure gauge all this time. Anyone ever hear of this nonsense?
oil pressure gauge on my boat is wrong!
