Hi Guys, I think I need to replaced my oil pressuer sender on my 2001 merc 5.7L Efi engine. While everything runs fine and gadges are working fine I found that on the port side of my engine that the oil sender is rusted and the spot where the wire connects to the back of the sender is rusted out (but wire is still connected). So I was thinking I should replace it. The part looks like it is only $22 from boatfix and I was hoping that someone could give me a step by step of what I need to do to replace and any problems I can expect while doing this. My Big concerns are disconecting the wireing and detaching the unit from the engine. also will oil be leaking out when I take sender off. Since all is working good now I just don't want to cause problems. So if you guys think this is something that I should wait to do at the end of season let me know.
