Oil Stain on White vinyl

Ok, over the winter my helm decided to leak. Unaware to me as it is on the bridge, the atf used for the steering had leaked across the front of my captains chair which was off its pedestal. It was off its pedestal because I use the center pedestal for shrink wrap support.
Nonetheless, the oil leaked down the helm to the floor and then it hit the towel the seat was on and was absorbed up into the front and side of the seat. I am terribly disappointed, but such is life I guess.

What can I use to get this stain out? Am I just SOL and I have to go purchase a new seat?

I have had luck using mineral spirits on vinyl seats to get off some stains that resisted other cleaners. It did not seem to overly soften the vinyl and 2 years or so on, those areas still look OK. I think I tried that after noticing that some vinyl products at WM contained mineral spirits in the ingredient list. As they say, try an inconspicuous spot first as your mileage my vary.

There's also always the Duplicolor vinyl spray if it's a color you can closely match such as white, but you'd probably have to do a major section of it or the whole thing. I would before I bought a new chair, given what these cost.
