this outdrive is going to drive me crazy. took boat out this weekend. Boats been running great. got down to the local beach and put the bow on shore. sat there for 3 to 4 hours and when i went to leave, the boat started right up and when i went to put it into reverse, nothing. the motor would just rev up. not forward gear either. Just cant understand how i could go from no noises or apparent problems to nothing. I havent disassembled the converter box yet but everything is moving on the outside. ive got both clymer and seloc manuals but there is nothing in there to tell me where to start. can anyone point me in the right direction? has anyone experienced the same problem, I mean no noises or clanks nothing out drive just appears to be in neutral. help please george
