The Plucky in North Ky didn't work out, The owner failed to mention that the rear 300 gal fuel tank was leaking and that the port motor smoked on startup. Along with the carpentry work around the helm area and a leaky window the ol Pluck was more than I wanted to tackle.
On to the new find. 1997 Skipperliner MY, drove up to Ark Saturday to have a look. Very nice boat. The twin cats purred kittens. She is all aluminum and has 2 staterooms with 2 full heads. Low hours on engines and genny. She has lived in a covered slip the last 12 years. 2 owner boat with the last being very meticulous. Survey and sea trail very soon.... wish me luck!!
 
Looks like a lot of boat for 120k. Sort of a cross between a houseboat and a motor yacht. Where will its home port be, fresh or saltwater?
 
mariner, that's what I thought... Wanted the live-ability of a houseboat but to me they are not much boat.... Looked at a plucky but it was too rough. Another requirement was it has to be able to come home by water ( Shreveport La) on the red river! The skipperliner seem to fit the bill. Good flat layout in the cabin with the acception of the front stateroom. Large party top with all the goodies!

Btw my offer was accepted! If she checks out she will be headed south!
 
Congratulations, Jayrock. She's actually a good looking boat, with lots of living area.
 
Carver, not sure how it share. It on yachtworld it's the only skipperliner in Arkansas.

She surveyed perfect. John Linck compared the Skipperliner to an Abrams Tank. He said there was more "function" over "Form" the hull had no pitting and passed the ultrasound test with a hull thickness of 1/3. All systems are go! hope to take possession soon!
