The fuse is blowing while cranking the gen. It turned over about two times and stopped. When I check the fuse, it was blown. The next thing I was going to do was try to crank again with the sensor not attached. That is how I isolated the problem to begin with. Each time I turned on the pre heat (fuel pump) it blew the fuse. I took the sensor off and the fuse did not blow. BTW The replace sensor was 309-0257.
I have a FWC (closed system). Let me ask this question: When I turn on my second air unit, the gen seems to strain. If it was not able to support all the energy I need, would it shut down or cause it to run hot? When I say run hot, all the water appears to boil out of the radiator. There is plenty of circulation on the hull exhaust. I have replace the impeller on the top of the gen. Where is the other impeller? I know there is a metal impeller on the lower back side of the gen.
