Im curious... I have a 01 RWC volvo 5.7 DP drive engine in Salt Water (dry stored) that I muff flush everytime I take it out.
I was strolling around the boating stores (seems like my new pastime) and happened to see "salt away" So curious me reads the bottle the one that has a hose attachment kit.
So I read the label and it says that it can help protect the internal components and also remove past salt residue??
Now is this just big talk or does anyone know something about his product or type of product that it can actually break salt buildup down and protect the cooling internals?
Has anyone had any real world experience in which they can say it favorably helped them?
I suppose it would be tough to truly test it unless you had to similar engines and only did one. Perhaps someone knows something?
