Out of the Game for Awhile

We sold Morechaching, our 30' Wrllcraft cruiser we had for 15 years last week. Found out the new owner played college ball with Michael Vic.

Had some health issues 2 years ago, my sister passed, helping daughter renovate a house, started raising chickens, and changed jobs. New job has extensive international travel and I'm takng my wife with me on occasion. We just spent 2 weeks on the Med in Italy and Malta.

Life takes many turns. Our next boat will either be a 25' center cnsole with a 4 stroke outboard, or a 35' trawler with a single diesel and no gen set. I'm done with gas engines, inboard outboards and gen sets.

I'm with you on the "gas is for outboards, diesel is for inboards" thing! I love my Honda 4-strokes on my power cat but I also love the old Perkins diesels deep down inside my trawler.

Had Westerbeke and now have Northern Lights....both with sound shields....great units. Had two gas gens and both were trouble, diesel is the only way.
