Outboard needed for new Dinghy

A friend in the Anchorage just bought a dinghy and he is looking to buy an outboard. Not sure what HP, but I would think 4 to 8hp. Anyone have a used one for sale? I will make the connection and then get out of the way.
 
Jeff, look in the classifieds, Walshie is practically giving a 5 hp outboard away.
 
Yeah I saw Walshies classified, but it sounds like that engine may need a little work and my friend is looking for something like my merc or tohatsu, honda, etc. i actually like Briggs and Stratton engines, but I never knew they made Outboards.
 
I owned that motor, it is a lawnmower motor, very simple and nothing to go wrong. Loud, vibrates, etc. but will run forever
 
I have a 3.5hp tohatsu. 2011.
Will sell for right price.
Want to go larger.

I checked with him - Unfortunately he wants larger than 3.5.
 
Hi, We have a Honda 9.9 which has 15 hours on it.
I was at BWYC, Rob knows me, we sold our boat last may. He gave me tissues when I was crying.

Honda makes a great engine. I am tempted but I have enough trouble carrying my 2 stroke 4hp Merc, and your's probably exceeds my dinghy's maximum HP. Out of curiosity, what year Honda is it?
 
I have a 2013-14 tohatsu 9.9 with very few hours on it (20 tops). Just got a new 20 hp Yamaha. Dpil222 at aol.com

I have an Evinrude two stroke 9.9 completely reconditioned. Will sell for the right price. Sweet running motor!
 
The Honda 9.9 is a 2013 with a transferable 5 year warranty. It has been used just a few hours
