outdrive paint chipped

I've got an 01' 1800 LSR w/ a Volvo Penta outdrive. I just noticed that a small section of paint has chipped off the top of the unit and another section has some paint that's bubbling up. I replaced the two anodes in case it was caused by corrosion, but what is the best way to repair the damage already done?

sand and prime with zinc chromate or other corrosion resistant primer, then paint with Volvo charcoal.
