hello folks,
have an overheating problem with my 272 1997 baja with 502 mag and bravo 1 outdrive. everything inside engine compartment checks out. hooked up hose to inside transom hose by the impellor no overheating problem. overheating problem on outdrive. probably that "s" type connection between outdrive and transom. how do i fix this or have a mechanic fix it? i think the "s" connection is probably closed off or semi closed off. can i flush the boat/outdrive with a limeaway/water mixture? or should i bypass the outdrive and have another hole/hose put in the transom for cooling?
thank you
