Bob,

I couldn't find your email address so I figured I would post on here. I am getting ready to paint the bottom of (the former) Starry Night. Can you tell me what you used on her or a recommendation of what to use? The paint doesn't look too bad but needs a light sanding and a fresh coat.

Thanks!

Jim

Thanks for the info. I picked a couple of gallons today (ouch!). Do you recall how much you would need for a good coat?

Thanks,

Jim

That's about what I figured. I stretched a gallon on my 28 Mariner last year but it was the cheap stuff and didn't know how the Micron would compare.

BTW, I met some friends of yours yesterday. They came in to work on their boat and I was working on mine. The woman commented on my boat and I offered her a tour. They are a couple boats down from you and have a 30' sea ray. She said she also has a smaller 21/23? Montego that they wanted to sell. She really liked the layout of my boat and was telling me how she wished her husband would have looked harder for one like it instead of the sea ray. I agreed. I told them about boatered and boatfix and told her they should join and they could list the Montego on here. She mentioned CP and I said there was a guy on here that works for Sima and she said ohh, Kenny? I said you were a wealth of carver knowledge on here. Sorry, can't remember their names. Older couple, maybe 60's or so.

That would be Skip and Lois...VERY nice people. They were at Venetian and I talked them into coming to CP...they're really happy I did!
