I posted in the marine detailing also. I'm wondering I have a 2001 Four winns and had hit an anchor along the hull side (long story). I got estimites from two fiberglass repair shops. Both of which want to paint these repairs rather than gelcoat repair ie spectrum. I don't have much knowledge on the pros and cons of paint to gelcoat. Any help would be appreciated.
