I have a 2010 Mercruiser 5.0 Bravo III that I'm trying to find the part number for the trim pump assembly. They list at least four different part numbers, how do I find the correct part number?
Likely a situation where they sourced from multiple suppliers during the year. A dealer might be able to look up the serial number of the outdrive and tell you.
Take a picture of the current pump. It may be obvious when you look at the different part numbers.
Often with the trim pump it's the relays rather than the trim motor. I had the trim motor for my Mercruiser rebuilt by a place that rebuilds starters/alternators and other low voltage motors.
Where are you seeing four part numbers, and what numbers? When i look at the trim assembly ( assuming you mean the entire assembly) I see two part numbers ( which are likely interchangeable). what is your serial number? I have gone used ( eBay) when I need to replace - the oem is like a thousand bucks, and I dont trust the aftermarket parts. I believe there is an older bravo assembly, only difference is hose ends, and wire harness. Either there is quick disconnect hydraulic hose, or threaded/flared. and a round wire harness, or flat. Not sure which one is which though.
