Part numbers needed to summerize

Posted on ROC as well.

The boat is about 30 miles from here in storage. Need some part numbers to ready her for the mechanic to springize her in a couple of weeks.

Engine is a Volvo 5.0 GL (220 HP 2 BBL Carb) attached to an SX drive.

Specifically need the part numbers for:

-External fuel filter
-Is there a fuel filter in the carb itself? If so, what is that filter number?
-Oil filter
-Spark plugs (I am replacing the regulars with NGK Iridiums)
-Stern drive gaskets.
-Stern drive bellows
-Shift cable bellows
-Stern drive drain plug gasket. Do they make a magnetic plug for the Volvo? I know they do for the Merc.
-Valve cover gaskets in the event he wants to do a valve adjustment.

***PLUS anything else I am missing and any advise is, as always, welcome.

Check out hlsm.com they have microfiche available for most volvo and merc motors and drives and the fiche list the part numbers. The only thing you will need is your motor serial number to start, but if you don't have it handy it's pretty easy to cross reference.

Thank you. I tried that but my engine was not listed. However, a call to BoatFix and a lengthy discussion w/ George Got me straight.

I got a very interesting class on engines, and what to do what not to do with regards to maintenance and repair, plus some great tips with regards to general upkeep.

My order was placed as soon as I got off the phone. Can't say enough good about the company.
