Patchogue River Marinas

Recently I keep hearing rumors about the marinas on the Patchogue River being sold & becoming Condos. The one most mentioned is Lee Ward Cove, I guess that's because that has already happened to the Lee Ward Cove on the northwest side of the river. Also I hear that were the old oil company use to be (northeast side)is turning into condos. I'm really concerned because I'm about to get back into boating after being away for a year and what in God's name are we going to do if indeed these rumors are true. Should this movement towards condos does indeed happen, what slips remain in Patchogue will be priced as if they were diamonds The shortage of slips will be felt as far west as Bay Shore and east most likely to Moriches. Does anyone know anything more meaningful then rumors??????
