We are heading back up to Palm Beach for some R/R ...Camping, Diving, fishing, cruising N boozing along with the boat 'White Star' who is bringing along his own personal chef to prepare culinary delights for both boats, this Capt has been known to second as a Bar tender in a pinch. ...Ain't life grand!

Enjoy your trip!!
Now a question do you have any tooling to press out the cutlass bearing for a 2 1/4' shaft.
Cor

I don't have those tools BUT I slept at a Holiday Inn, which means that I had my bearings changed w/ same size shaft..Had to be hauled and the hydraulic ram could not get it out until they cut off some of the strut to allow it to pass ...
I had the work done in a do it yourself yard up near Deltona Fl..Don't remember the name of the yard but it famous for the sailboat folks.

Peanut Island was a very interesting experience ,we set up a 4 man tent and at midnight a building alarm went off and it was not reset until 10:15 AM So we were forced to sleep aboard .Next day the winds came in force out of the North and blew our tent over twice so we decided to sleep aboard again. Today we informed the Office that we were leaving the Island and they understood the problem, while aboard we had another sumptuous meal ..Temperatures ranged from 38- 55 outside , inside the cabin 72 real comfy.
Heading back South we had the wind and current with us and made good time for a nice lunch at the Hurricane Alley in Boynton Beach. Fun was had by all!

I might have one that fits, if you pay shipping charges both ways, you could use it.

I have two different one's, shaft in or shaft out?

Ron

Thanks for offering Ron, but I bit the bullet and paid a guy to do the job.

How bad was the "Bite" can ya still smile or .....
Who dune ya ,where, etc.. No more vibration..So smooth now while under way?

The wind that knocked over your tent made it's way over to Elbow Cay and hammered us a 40 mph for a day and a half. It almost blew us off the dock when we were coming back from the Abaco Inn happy hour. The booze had nothing to do with it.
