Great weather so far for a week off. Admiral and I spent yesterday exploring some of the wineries around Cayuga Lake (by car). Had lunch at one of them on the west shore. Sat outside at a table for two and in the middle of lunch a whitetail deer came running by no farther than 10 yards away.

After getting home around 5pm, we went to the boat and had a great evening cruise and stayed overnight. This morning woke early, and realized we were the only ones at the marina. Talk about peaceful!!. After giving the boat a bath, we headed out to an absolutely flat Oneida Lake. Spent the day in a quiet bay. Home now and out to dinner with friends.

This is what time off is all about. R&R. Finally remembered the camera. A few picts:

Boat106 -- sorry Mike, didn't make it to Hydes. But, my school is just down the street so I usually make it a lunch stop at least a couple times during the summer. I'll get a double for you next time I'm there. Scott On another topic - anyone know how I can get my avatar down to the required 85 x 85? I am using Photobucket, but it will only resize down to 100 x something.
 
That is what I have in my profile. Could it be that I am using a MacBook and Firefox?

OK, I fixed it. Thanks Rommer. After closer inspection, I still had the IMG tags in front and at the end. After my new picts from yesterday, I'll probably change the avatar anyway! Thanks again. Scott

Pics look great! I still plan on looking you up once I make it through the canals. We have to get our brothers up north to do the RRR in Lake Ontario next year!
 
Jeff, would love to hook up if you are ever up this way. I get down to your neck of the woods on occasion. Grew up in Armonk. Still have family there and over in Brewster.
