As a matter of curiosity, I'd like to know where all the purple -60* antifreeze I used to pickle the boat has gone.
It was stored indoors at a local fairgrounds, on concrete, non heated, but out of the brunt of Minnesota weather. I'm not necessarily worried (that's a lie) about the block having been frozen and cracked because our winter thus far hasn't been too severe...and the antifreeze always tends to slush up anyway.
I opened up the drain plugs and I got water...not purple antifreeze. I cycled five gallons through the system last fall, done it the same way I've done it for years...now where the hell is it?!!
The impeller was new this past August so I know it was circulating it because I was watching the exhaust at the gimbal ring and saw the purple coming thru.
I'm perturbed.
