Okay that isn't working. Here's the message.
Brian,
Good news for you. I checked in on Carol Ann II this morning. First, she looks very good. At 8:30 am two of Silda's guys (including her number one man in charge) were starting on the compounding part. The boat looks in very good shape - I think they washed it yesterday. I suspect it will be done tomorrow or Thursday.
She really is one of the better looking boats on Tommy's pier (there are a lot of old boats that need some TLC right now).
You probably should know that the marina as well as our whole area has been unusually dirty lately. There is a ed dirt that settles on everything - cars, boats, etc. I washed my car on Saturday and by Monday morning it look like it had been well sprinkled with something that looks like clay-colored powder. Along with some heavy morning fogs the last two days, things are looking very dirty. I was on day two of detailing my own boat ('97 Sea Ray 330DA) and had to do a complete rinse at the start. Silda's guys were doing the same.
If I may be so bold I make one suggestion. I noticed the sun pad was snapped in place on the foredeck, I would recommend removing it, let Silda's guys clean it, then store it in the cabin. This will assure that the deck gets the treatment it deserves (be sure and tell on this) and will preserve the cushion as well.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help. I'll be there every day through Friday.
