Ok, so this is year two with my boat. It's a Sea Ray 240 Sundancer and we're at Summit North on the C&D. Last year, we got to Chesapeake city about every weekend and hardly made it off the Canal, going to Philly for a night and took a trip to the delaware beaches for a day. This year, I'd like to try to leave on a friday and make it home sunday at least once. We usually go to the Delaware beaches on the weekends (before we got the boat) and I think I'd like to take it down there at least once. Question is, where is there to stay down there? When we went down last year, we made it onto the rehoboth Canal and then into the bay, but it was way too shallow and we didn't have the blue chip for our GPS for that area, so we turned back. Ended up eating at a place right near the Rosevelt inlet, some irish resturant, and then turned back. It was a nice little adventure for a group of guys who never had the boat off the C&D before, but I'd like to know where there is to go this time. I have the chip for the Rehoboth bay now, but what's a good place to stay, and is it even safe to bring my V into those waters. There's a lot of pontoons down there, and they can sit in like an inch of water and be ok.

I think I'm gonna take a trip down to Baltimore at least once too, but there is supposed to be a lot of places to stay down there. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance and maybe I'll see some of ya out on the water this year!
