I am getting a malware warning everytime I open the Ferry accident thread. Another RO, confirmed same thing. no other threads, just the ferry. I have reproed the issue multiple times
I advise staying clear of that thread until we know what is going on

No problem here. I use Titanium and its found nothing. I wonder what it could be? I'm going to delete the emoticons in my post. Let me know if that changes anything.

Nothing found and no warnings I can associate with this. I run Norton 360 and Firefox. But I did get a new level of Firefox today along with 15 windoze 7 updates.

At home I run Avast and also got a warning about a malicious URL in that page that was blocked. Could be a "false-positive"...

None here and I have very strong virus control on my notebook.
Sounds like your software is recognizing a non threat.

No warning now

Some times I wonder if software presents a false positive to make you think you have good protection.

Perhaps McAfee did that in the early days :)

I don't think this was a false postive as there were files that were quaranteed and then deleted. Several others got similar warning with different Security software

That must have been it. Were they ours or elsewhere?

Les, they were from the BE list. The devil and the eyebrows.

I went through the emoticon databases and the code and found nothing that would trigger a warning. Might have been a bad link someone posted. Haven't had a problem in years but I'll keep an eye on it. Let me know if anyone experiences another warning.
