Actually, most of what I get has nothing to do with anything I would click on or search for. However I am getting a lot of drone advertisements along with the mail order brides. Guess that's how they're going to deliver them to me.
 
I think everyone is correct.
Your searches certainly help but for now, on a brand new computer at work, I'm getting a big mix of ads.
- The asian girl ad mentioned here
- Watches
- Tons of boats
- travel
- Keystone pipeline
 
I don't get any ads like that. As above all ads I get are related to stuff I click on the help the forum

Since it is a new computer I suggest clearing cookies, web sites etc. There were reports in past of Asian built computers being preloaded with junk.
 
I dont believe it is preloaded stuff. Just today I got adds for retirement investments, a new car, cat food, paper towels etc. All of which i have never googled anything of the sort. I believe there is a programming error.

In the upper right of the ad there is a triangle arrow. Check it and it opens up a site where you can control the targeting and privatization of the ads

Is it my imagination or are the ads growing and the content shrinking? It seems like I have twice as many ads as I used to. still 90% are of recent searches. Todays ads are for Corvette parts, Motorola two way radios which I just placed an order, drones which seem to keep going down in price I may soon have to buy one and Teamviewer which I just used two days ago and of course boating supplies.
 
Has anyone noticed it looks a bit like Les may have resurrected some of the marine parts/equipment store in the ads below? ( Boatstore.net based in Portsmouth, NH )

If that is the case, it's good to see.
 
Just to add a bit to the ads "issue". Its is NOT just what you click it is also what you SEARCH, and YES it can travel with you from one PC to another being you log in and Google recognize you are the same person even with a different ip address so wallah! You are being watched!
 
It's bait and switch at it's best:) A good salesman would convince you that the Russian wives are better!
 
OK, now I'm PO'd. This has clearly gone too far and I'm asking that this be remediated immediately. My Asian ads have now gone to SENIOR Asian dating.
 
If you are on a company owned computer within a company's firewall you are probably going out into the internet through a proxy, so everyone (or many people) at your firm will look like they are all coming from the same IP address. Perhaps some of your co-workers are looking for companionship.

Personally, I never really noticed the advertisements at the bottom of the page until now (I have noticed the ads at the top of page), but it is mostly stuff I have displayed an interest in recently.
 
I get them on my iPad as well. Again, I really don't care at all just stating the facts. You could certainly make an argument about the Asian mail order brides but certainly not paper towels and retirement planning
