the initial results from the survey
the following items need to be addressed
1 damper on v drive squealing need to be replaced
2 one manifold leaking at bottom end , not at top near riser
3 search light does not move up or down
4. oil pressure sender not working on one engine
still waiting on oil analysis
to me the most serious ones are the damper (also called drive plate)
and leaking manifold.
anyone have any ideas on cost to repair the damper. I tried calling a few local mechanics, and none of them wanted to give me a rough estimae. they wanted to see boat, which is hard since it is three hours from my location.
just want to get a rough idea. from anyone that actually had work done.
