ok i have a crazy question...... i need some opinions here...
I bought a 30 foot bayliner with 10 ft beam. Has galley, head, beds and all... I bought it with a 15x17 prop on it, the guy gave me a 15x21 and said he didn't know where it came from. Last summer i used the 15x17, the boat max out ** 3200 RPM's 7-8 MPH... last winter in dry storage i found the owners manual. The owners manual shows 15x21. So i changed the prop to the 15x21. Now the boat maxs ** 2100 RPM's 6-7 MPH. After tune up changed spark plugs etc etc etc i decided to go back to the 15x17. The 15x17 had some chips in the prop. i took the prop to the prop shop and the guy there tells me i need a 15x13 or 15x15 prop for that size boat.... i am soooo lost. The questions is in ya'lls opinion does a boat of that size need a 15x13 or a 15x21 prop??????

The boat is a 1984 bayliner 30x10. motor is a 260a volvo (chevy350) and a 270 volvo penta outdrive.
