I have an 1995 Evinrude 130 HP on a Stratos 278 (17'8"). I am only getting 50mph @ 6200RPM's, and 40mph @ 5400RPM's. I have a Raker 22 pitch prop. I want to increase to 24 pitch but I already have problems getting out of the hole full of gas and rear live well full. Would a hydrofoil help with the 24 pitch prop. Any suggestions??? Also, I had my compression checked and 3 cylinders were 145 and the other was at 150. ????
