What is the proper way to flush a 03 5.0mpi w/bravo3?
My boat is 24ft deck and has a thru hull water pick up.
When I hook up a set of muffs(trailered boat)on the outdrive and turn on the water w/motor off the hose water poors out the side of a thru hull vent. When I start the engine the water no longer comes out the vent but exits out the outdrive.
Am I doing this right? Can I use the muffs with this type of set up? Is the motor flowing enough water with only the muffs on so I dont damage the motor?
