Pulling her out of hibernation...

100% Bill....the only way to be more assured would be to take the snowblower off the tractor...

I can just 'see' Brian now. He's standing in the driveway in his power lifting tank top, chainsaw held high in his right hand, shaking his left fist at the sky, and screaming, "I dare you Mother Nature to try and snow on me!"

Later, Linda locks him in his bedroom and hopes nobody saw him.

Note: winter is very tough on Brian....

Didn't unwrap yet, just wanted to get her pulled out of the mud in the backyard before it turned into quicksand and sank to the axles. Predictably, it snowed this morning.

I have to schedule with my local guy to get some minor fiberglass repairs finished up as soon as he can get me into the shop. Fixing up a ding on the keel and adding a keel guard since a few of our favorite lakes have rocky beaches we like to pull into.

Then I plan to upgrade my VHF and Depth/Chartplotter, break out the cleaning supplies and buffer, and wait for the water to turn back into liquid.

I absolutely love winter...this was actually my grand master plan to entice Old Man Winter into one more good storm...

Linda has given up on keeping me from embarrassing her...many years ago she realized it was inevitable.

the ice went out on Frenchmans Bay yesterday. I wintered in water as usual. My shrinkwrapper will unwrap me on the 27th and I move to my summer slip on April 1st.

I'm glad that y'all post about things that I would otherwise know nothing about.

It should be noted that Brian did NOT refute my description of his actions and appearance.

I don't take my winter cover off till April 1st! But can get in and start fixing things left over from last year because I made to be easily removable.
