We are having trouble pumping out our head on our Regal Ambassador. The tank looks full but when we take it to be pumped they can't get anything out. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to rectify this problem?

Thanks

If you've already checked for clogs and the positions of the valves(if any) are correct then try checking the vent line for blockage. Could be something as simple as spiders making a nest over the vent screens. Air needs to replace the waste as it leaves the tank, if air can't get in, the waste can't(or will be very difficult to) get out.

I have a 1989 Regal Ambassador 255 XL - bought im March. My waste line was disconnected at the hull fitting. It was tough to reconnect (with a new waste line) but I got it done. As Sean B says, the vent line needs to be clear and the hoses all need to be secure and without obstructions. Good luck!

Although I am not familiar with all pumpouts, my pumpout requires that the pump be primed and the hose be filled with water before i attach it to the waste fitting. No prime - no pump. Just my 2 cents
