First time poster on this board. We have just recently sold out of our 7 year racing adventure and are in the process of purchasing a boat. We have our eyes set on a 2005 Rinker 232 Captiva Cuddy. I was just wondering if anyone had any pros/cons on this boat. It looks as though it has been well maintained. It has the Mercruiser 6.2L MX B3 powering it. I have heard some mixed reviews on the 6.2L, what is your take? It has been dry stored since purchase, has the extended swim platform, etc. My main concern is the engine. As was stated above we are new to all of this and are looking for something that will provide us reliable service for sometime with periodic maintenance. Someone has mentioned problems with the B3 having dissimilar metals and corrosion problems, anyone else heard this? Thanks in advance and if I have posted in wrong section please forgive.
