Quess whats in?

I'll be there tomorrow to finish the job.

Well all that flushing paid off, we launched this morning and took our first cruise....All in all we launched 4 boats but ended up having to pull one due to a submerged object and some minor prop damage....Over all the trash out there didnt seem as bad as I was expecting but you do have to keep a sharp eye out.

I painted the drives and installed the re-conditioned props on the old boat. I also charged the batteries. So, all I have to do is remove the wrap and dunk her...Saturday or Sunday.

Spent half the day under the boat sanding off old paint on the rudders and tabs until my new crappy Black and Decker Drill took a dump.

What a piece of crap. I figured I'd buy a junker drill just to use for a wire wheel and sanding disks and designate for bottom prep. Had to then move into the bilge and finish up on some new bonding wires and a new A/C discharge hose.

Last B & D tool I ever buy.

BTW, working under the boat really sucks too.

I love/hate this time of year!

Jonathan

WEll, I'm in...the old boat that is. Docked at HMB awaiting sea trial....wish me luck.

Congrats Chris, I am sure all will go well on the sea trial....

Butch I surprised you haven't scolded Jonathan.

I see Hogan is hanging in the sling as of this morning. Won't be long now.

Of course the weather report for next Saturday is not looking good;

Sat April 7th
Few Snow Showers High
44°F

Precip
30%

Wind: WNW 10 mph
Max. Humidity: 43%
UV Index: 6 High

Thanks Mike! ;)

Hey...44 isnt bad....It is Mikes fault though, he is in....

I just heard teens for Saturday night, coupled with snow that could really suck!

Someone want to remind nature that it's SPRING!

...and no call from Warren or Steve!!

OK, bring on the last of the lousy weather!

Warren didnt get down there today and Steve told me he didnt call. I told him not to worry, you would find out....

Warren is going to be upset that he didn't get to notify me!

It's about time Mike....the old HOGAN beat the new HOGAN by a full day. Then again this is the earliest I've had her in by far. I think she likes early April because I went for another quick shake-down cruise as it was a beautiful evening. All systems go for this sea-trial...she ran like a top. She hit 40mph then I backed down due to debris. Not bad for year old gas, plugs that have been fogged, both biminis up, etc!! I'm psyched yet a bit sad....but mostly psyched!!!

Are you still meeting Charles Tuesday afternoon, Chris???

I'm sending a package with him - if you don't mind putting some of that travel stuff on display at the Yacht Club!!!

PS - I took Jonathan up to uncover our boats today - I'm sure we'll get a foot of snow now that I did that. The forecast called for 60 so I figured what the heck, but I don't think it got out of the 40s in Kingston...

Yes Pete, Tuesday afternoon/evening...I'll try to remember the pamphlets and if I have the opportunity, I'll leave some of the literature with my temporary home, Half Moon Bay....but they're not always open and I barely know the dockmaster Steve. CYC will be no problem.

Thanks again for all your help!

Chris, that was a great boat! We have a lot of great memories with it.

Hey Chris, make sure you talk to Charles before heading over to the marina - he's been swamped with a lot of crazy things going on today and I don't want you to make the trek for nothing.
