Question about KIWIGRIP

Would like to know if anyone used KIWiGRIP non-skid deck coating?
Planning to use it on my swim platform so the kids have better grip walking or jumping of the platform. The platform is pretty large about 12' by 4'. I read some reviews and they are mostly good but want to double check with the forum. my questions are:
1. Is it really soft? Couple of reviews suggested it was soft.
2. Will it fade because it is on the swim platform?

Never used it. But I am now. Thanks for asking the question and turning me on to this product. It's just the thing I was looking for for a project boat I have.

Thanks, will do. Waiting for a little bit better weather to take the platform of and get it home. from what i did so far it is fairly easy to use and looking good.
 
I was on a boat in hawaii and it was peeling up in chunks. Seem like suntan lotion gets between the materials and debonds it. They were going to strip it all off. The only good thing was they knew just what to use to get it off, suntan lotion.

Ouch, I hope that's not the case for me. Since the original post I read a bunch of reviews and while some people complained on application no one complained about it peeling but everything is possible. Thanks for letting me know. :-)
 
So finally got to do it. Applied the kiwigrip and painted the swim platform edges, results below. Very happy with how it looks now I am just hoping it won't peel in contact with suntan location :-) those panels I did earlier this year in the pictures above help pretty well.

I guess the joke was on me, I didn't realize I was going to play the part of one of your moving men:)

lol I had totally forgotten about this thread I laughed when I read this I wasn't expecting to actually play such a role in the removal and transport but was happy to help! If you need a hand bring it back count me in:)
 
Thanks Dave, Will do Dave but I hope that you will be busy with your spring commission when I move the platform back on the boat!
