I am working on a 1966 41' Hatteras that has a Raritan R-12 water heater with exchanger. THe owner is complaining about only getting a 10 second hot shower in the mornings and a longer shower at night and vice-versa with no pattern.
Could this be a defective thermostat or heater element? THe hot water he does get is very hot. It just gets cold really fast.
