Racor 20T vs 20TUL

Noticed my generator had a 20TUL on it.
Mechanic installed a 20T.
Best I can tell, UL stands for UL Listed.

Not sure I get the point of the UL and if there is any downfall using the non UL filter?

Send an e-mail to Racor customer service. I had a similar questions about a change to the S3228. Tokk them a couple of days, but they provided an explanation.
