Radio Waves has also seen better days

Below is a satellite picture of property, 177 Peninsular Blvd. The blue arrow is where the boat is and the red oval is where there is a boat lift. I know it is hard to see the issues, but there has been a couple of salvage companies looking for a solution and so far none has gotten back. Or maybe they did to my marina owner, but I have not heard anything. Getting a crane that can hoist 13,000+ lbs with a 45 degree angle seems to be the problem. I will follow up tomorrow, Monday.

Wow that is tough. Are all those other boats washed up too?
my first thought was a crane along the side of the house. it does look like there is room. Second thought was that it looks like a beach at the lower corner. Could the boat be jacked onto a trailer and launched from the beach??
 
It really is just sad to see. So many destroyed beautiful boats.

Wow, that's a tough one! You may be looking at a hydraulic trailer through the side yard and building a "bridge" over the corner of the pool.
Either that or a crane barge.
 
What about one of the haulers? I know South Bay haulers lifts some pretty big boats onto land. Could one of those barges with the slings reach the boat?
 
I've been following your postings here and on 'Ask the Captain.' Radiowaves is a beautiful boat with what appears to be minor damage. She's just in a lousy spot. I'd hate to see such a beautiful boat cut up simply because she couldn't be moved. I would suggest using inflatable roller cushions. They use them to move small buildings and even houses. The small ones are tubes about a foot in diameter. A house mover with six of them and an air compressor could probably roll your boat back to the bay where she could be towed back to a marina for repairs and storage (First put the drain plug back in the transom.) The boat could initially be lifted with hydraulic jacks and then the rollers slid underneath. Inflating them will raise the boat while cushioning it. A tow line to a tow boat in the bay could slowly pull it back toward water. Leap-frogging inflatable roller cushions would keep it off the ground. It's worth a phone call to a house mover. I just wanted to add that a few years ago I had to move a tool shed I had build to the back area of our house. To make a long story short, the shed could not be left to the side of the house; it had to be behind the rear edge of the house. It is a 9 1/2' x 10' wooden tool shed I had designed and built. To move it, I emptied it, jacked it using my auto floor jack and rested it on 6" diameter PVC drain pipe resting on 2 x 6 boards. The building weighs about 800 pounds. Using a 6' prybar, I was able to move it forward 10', then back to the rear 50', and finally back toward the side fence 10'. I did this alone, leap frogging the pipe sections. Not bad for a 60-year old (at the time) with a bad back. There was no real strain on me and the shed moved easily. This method can be adapted to move your boat. I've seen video on TV of a similar house move, using the inflatable tubes. Hy

About the guy and his pool that ronp posted, the house owner guy must be a real A$$ given the situation.

My boat is sitting at pool side 1-2' from the edge, but not in the pool. The house owner Steve is being real cool about it and is now working with a crane company that I hired to have it removed.
 
After seeing the satellite photo, my first thought would probably be the easiest. Just tie a stout line and drag her back into the water. The dock needs to be replaced anyway.

North Shore Crane co. is sending two cranes, one land and one water for a possible “Hand off”. Looks like this Saturday will be the adventure. Thanks for everyone’s advice, but until you actually stand on the property and speak to the various salvage / crane co’s. No one can really contemplate the various obstacles involved. You have to see it in person.
