I posted this here instead of PM as there may be some other Carver folks that are in need of these as well.

Here goes:

I need 10 Interior Light Bezel Rings (probably called Decor Rings) and the Frosted Lens that goes with it. These just snap on to the light itself. The Ring and the Lens seem to be attached originally as one item, but they've since separated (they may be a two part item). You can see the brand Hera on the back of the ring. As far as I know, these are still used on current Carver yachts, at least until a few years ago they were (see my response from the local dealer below). Due to heat these rings have snapped/broken, so I'm missing quite a few (some are still on but missing pieces).

I've been given these (just the Ring and the Lens) before by the previous dealer (Ugly John's) while at a boat show (they said they keep spares as they inevitably lose some during transport) so hopefully you can obtain just these and not the whole light assembly (as those are all working fine).

I need 10 of these please, tan color.

This is what the local dealer (Slalom Shop, Lewisville (DFW), TX) told me: "Carver no longer carries the lenses or the bezels for this light, they have a light that is larger that can replace it. I am waiting on pricing from them on that light."

**I do NOT want/need a larger light, my lights are fine - I just need the decor rings. I appreciate any and all help! Let me know what they cost and I'll gladly buy them at a reasonable price!

I do have an image that I've taken of one of the broken Interior Light Bezel Rings and the Lens that goes with it (two shots of the front, two shots of the back). If you'd like me to email it to you please provide your address.

I've also done some digging on the net....Hera is a light manufacuturer, they make lights that seem to be identical to what I've got - but the rings are different colors (not tan)...I may try these folks as a last resort - it would mean going to gold (they appear to be identical other than the color - look around the middle of the web page):

sounds like halogen lamps any home depot has them in sets. I just use the lamps and toss the wires and supply. Using a set makes them all match.

A lot of OEM Lights come from: Daniel R. Smith & Associates
do a web search - maybe under drsa
 
What is the "transformer" that is sold separately? I've never seen one on a Carver

The light fixtures and bulbs are 12 volt. When sold for home cabinet use there is a 110v to 12v step down transformer available. This would not be needed for the 12v system on boats.

the HD price is about $20 for a set of 4 or maybe six.
 
I called hera lighting directly and they were able to send out some replacement lens and bezzels. I looked them up on the web, sorry I do not have thier phone number anymore.
 
cool guys - thank you for your help - going to make a trip to HD/Lowe's....and/or call Hera directly.
 
I just wanted to report that I got my decor rings in and they are perfect. While they are not beige like the original ones, they are still somewhat off-white and it is not noticable that they do not match. I'm not so sure I would put them in the same room with other original rings, but I used them in one head and one stateroom and everything was perfect. The extra original ones I had left over from replacing them in the above rooms I'm keeping as spares for the salon and galley.

I went ahead and bought extra bulbs and lenses for the future as well.
