I am creating a new topic on this becuase I really want opinions.
Blew my impeller on my Bravo III, I have twins, but only one went on the first 5 minutes in the water on first day out. Mechanic at marina, who I don't normally use replaced it, charged me $243.75 for 2.5 hours labor, $90 for pump, $50 for flushing hoses and system, $415 with tax!!!! I feel raped. Part is like $40 on boatfix!
I don't usually use the marina mechanic but becuase I didn't have the part and I was in a rush to fix it, i had them do it. You never know when you will need them for a short haul or some other work, so I don't want to upset them and get on the Sh*t list so I never get anything done.
What do you think? Should I take it or refuse to pay!
