Can anyone provide a reliable recommendation on a source for a new cockpit carpet for my 1997 Searay Sundancer 330?

I am not looking for an installation, and plan on putting the snaps in myself.

A-1 on Sunrise Highway in West Babylon. They have a sign up advertising that they do boat carpeting and I hear from a buddy that they are good, but I think they do the whole job. Might be worth a look/see.

Corinthian Marine Carpet.
866-785-6507, www.corinthianmarine.com

They were the OEM for Searay/Brunswick and have most of the patterns on file.
Ordered my replacements from then a few years ago and the pricing was OK.

http://www.snapincarpet.com/ I used them for my Sea Ray and its unreal.

I am on my 3rd season with one from home depot. Did the snaps myself and saved a lot of money.

How did you do the edges after cutting the carpet to size?

The carpet guy I use at home told me that there are local places that will bind the edges.

Kevin, did you find one at home depot with the rubber backing?

I always thought that a backing is required to keep the rough fibers of non-backed carpet from wearing the gelcoat. While it may be minimal, over the course of years it may be an issue.
