We are trying to get a slip at Red Bank for the weekend and may have a shot at it.
We have never been there before and it sounds like a great town- Restaurants, shops etc….
If it becomes a no go for a slip- any suggestions for a northern NJ town(within 40 mile of nyc) similar to Red Bank?

Watch for skinny water on the Navisink River.

You are gonna be close to the bottom, and maybe touching bottom in a few places.

Any alternate places?

I was in Red Bank at the Molly Pitcher just after July 4th. I have a 41C Silverton and had no problems with the depth. Just go slow and pay attention to the channel. I even left a few hours before mean low tide and I was fine. Red Bank is easy to walk to and a great town!
