I've heard that before. Old boy set his autopilot using the AP of big old Mo(A) as the waypoint. Well - turns out that buoy was floating dead on assigned position, and his autopilot was working like a champ. Was a nice boat, too. The guy was bewildered and could not comprehend how it was 100% his fault. Kept reiterating that he had the right waypoint, that he had the autopilot set, and he double checked the position of the buoy and his waypoint was correct. Not sure if he was overwhelmed from hitting a buoy or in denial, but he couldn't make that connection between "set the autopilot to steer on the AP of a large buoy" and "you did this".
