Does anyone out there know what model my 32 car ver mariner has in it? It looks to be the factory model and is a norcold two door. It also has two small compressors on the back. I need to find a few small parts or at least a manual.

Thanks

There should be a tag inside the fridge with the model and serial number on it.

If you find a part dealer let us know.

I have a 86' carver aft with a Norcold that does not get very cold. I would think its low on Refrigerant but i do not think you can add any. I look last year and it looked like a closed system.

The dealership I work for has a source for Norcold parts...as long as they are still available. Alot of the older models like the 828 don't have parts available any longer. Sometimes, even when parts are available, it's only a little more expensive to get a new fridge.

There were quite a few Norcolds going back in my marina last year, I'm literally knocking on wood here that my 1994 still gets ice cold and works perfectly. I think that the people who aren't on their boats all week and shut down their Air Conditioning is what kills the fridge since it gets so hot inside the boat and the compressor goes south. At least one of my airs is running all the time.

I'm sure its from the 1986 era, thats the year of my boat. It still run great and gets cold as we leave it on all spring and summer, except about twice a season to defrost. I found the main door peice that I was looking for ( I left it in my bead blaster as we are refinishing all the trim on the doors and trim that hold it to the wall. I will post a few pictures when I get it reassembled this weekend. I did the finish in a dark cherry wood grain ( we have a liquid water transfer company, its the same stuff as you would find on a gun that is camo finished). I also found a simiuler refrig at our local RV dealer, he saves some old units just for parts to help guys like us.
Thanks
