My wife and I are looking to move up next year.
We have a 28 chap and the Regal is on our short list. I like sleeeping in the front bunk as it is a full mattress. It does not seem to have much headroom. Any owners out there that can comment on this? How does it perform with the 5.7 325 hp volvos? The boat is mostly me and my wife we have an occasional guest. The boat will be kept in Merritt Island Florida and I do expect to make a few bahamas runs with it.
Thanks for your comments....Jeff

Dangit Jeff, move up again!. How are ya. I'm struggling with the wife between the 34 (me) and 39 (hers) and have not pull the trigger yet, too close on the 391 Meridian(hers), I'm still looking at the 34 Silverton (me), I'm still on my 21 SeaRay at this time. I may look into the Carver on my next trip to MayLanding NJ.

Hi Jeff,

The 3360 makes a great week-ender IMHO. The innerspring mattress is very comfortable in itself, if you want a little more comfort add an egg crate over the top of the berth. Headroom is a little tight, don't plan on sitting up on the berth but sleeping is fine. I'm 5'11" and weigh about 185 (better not say about the wife) and there's plenty of stretch out room for the both of us. It actually is a little roomier than our 3560 was, go figure. The 5.7, 320hp, Osxi's make a great power set-up for the boat, love it. Good luck with your choice, we think the window express setup is great.

Jeff, We have had our 3360 for a month now and find it very roomy and comfortable. We have yet to have an overnighter, but we expect to soon. We are a family of four and so far have more then enough room. We have the 5.7 volvo GXi's and have plenty of power. We choose the Regal 3360 over the SeaRay 320 because of the all the windows which allows plenty of natural light and makes the cabin seem bigger. Also the performance you get from the Regal is far better then the Searay IMHO. Regal really pays attention to detail and the more you compare it the more you will find. As PT said, " the window express setup is great". Good Luck

Thanks for your responses. That head room seems a little tight. I keep my boat in Merritt Island Fl. I will only buy a boat from someone that services the marina. That leaves Regal and Rinker. I dont like Sea Rays. I loved the new 33 Monterey but he will not service the marina.
The Regal is a better quality boat than the rinker but you also pay more.
When it gets closer to buying time I will take a test ride in both if available.
Hey Dat,
You still have that Sea Ray....YOU NEED A BIGGER BOAT!
